Joy Moonshine

1.) Describe your character's relationship with their mother or their father, or both. Was it good? Bad? Were they spoiled rotten, ignored? Do they still get along now, or no?

It was great! Her dad is a silly kind of person, always cracking jokes and making videogame references, the nerd. Her mom on the other hand is the down-to-earth one and she always has proverbs, words of wisdom, or old sayings ready for any circumstance. they both love their kids dearly and spend much of their free time with them. the girls are neither spoiled nor ignored. the parents have as much fun as they can with them, but rules are always enforced, especially the community's rules. They get along just fine 8D

2.) What are your characters most prominent physical features?

she has the average height and build of a female clefairy (gijinka) her age, maybe a little on the plump side. she does very little exercise consisting of practicing her 4 moves at least once a week and SEE QUESTION 19.

3.) Name one scar your character has, and tell us where it came from. If they don't have any, is there a reason?

she has no scars XD it's a miracle she doesn't have carpal tunnel from all the time she spends at her computer...

4.) How vain is your character? Do they find themselves attractive?

No, she's not vain. she knows she can charm others with her move, but she only uses that to avoid fighting if she's attacked. she's not that interested in her attractiveness. maybe she just needs to grow up XD

5.) What's your character's ranking on the Kinsey Scale?

she has told nobody, but she's a 6 XD

6.) Describe your character's happiest memory.

very probably when she taught her little sister how to play videogames. the game was Zelda: windwaker. from then on, they've been best friends and playmates.

7.) Is there one event or happening your character would like to erase from their past? Why?

it's very probably the opposite. she'd like to ADD events to her past and present: stuff like what she reads in her History books and stories, about exciting world-shaking events, bands of friends going off and having adventures together, falling in love... o///o

8.) Day of Favorites! What's your character's favorite ice cream flavor? Color? Song? Flower?

ice cream flavor: cookies and cream... she also likes the soft-serve ones with chocolate syrup, carob chips, yogurt chips and chocolate rocks XD
color: all shades of green and violet.
song: that's a tough one... hmmm... I know! Vamo'Alla Flamenco by Nobuo Uematsu XD
flower: whut? ...maybe violets. <.< >.> o.o XD

9.)  Who does your character trust?

her little sister the most, then her parents. her community too, for they have kept their community secret and safe for a lonnng time 8D

10.) Can you define a turning point in your character's life? Multiples are acceptable.

Perhaps that time when her computer got infected with a virus. she was 6 and she'd just got her first desktop pc two months before on her birthday. she'd been given a document with proper internet security rules by her parents, but what child reads rules at that age? the infection almost spread to her parents' computers and they took her pc away until her next birthday. she lost everything in that machine due to that infection. that's when she started getting into fantasy because the people in those stories don't have any technology or electronics. they need either a sharp mind, a sharp wit, or a sharp sword to be heroes and survive in a world full of monsters, magic, and danger. (not to mention she couldn't go online or play computer games, so she started reading books XD)

11.) Is there an animal you equate with your character?

are you kidding me? lol! ok no seriously... a cat I guess... she's curious and furry like a cat XD

12.) How is your character with technology? Super savvy, or way behind the times? Letters or email?

savvy enough to use any electronic gadget, but not enough to build, repair, or program them. email plzkthnxbai ^^

13.) What does your character's bed look like when he/she wakes up? Are the covers off on one side of the bed, are they all curled around a pillow, sprawled everywhere? In what position might they sleep?

maybe the sheets end up off on one side of the bed... she just pushes them off, gets up, washes her face, and gets dressed... uhh... usually she sleeps on her side... cuz of her wings and tail, ya know... maybe she rolls on her belly a bit... this is weird... o.o

14.)  How does your character react to temperature changes such as extreme heat and cold?

extreme cold is ok to her, she just bundles up in layers of her long coats and socks, goes inside, shuts the windows and drinks something warm. in general she likes the cold. extreme heat is a completely different story. she's kinda furry, being a clefairy, so she can get very hot very easily o.o if rolling up her thin sleeves and drinking cold stuff can't do the trick, she could even get desperate enough to douse herself with water if it gets too hot for her.

15.) Is your character an early morning bird or a night owl?

night owl. no contest. she loves the moon, cool air, dim lights, and quiet environment.

16.) Are there any blood relatives that your character is particularly close with, besides the immediate ones? Cousins, Uncles, Grandfathers, Aunts, et cetera. Are there any others that your character practically considers a blood relative?

no and no o.o not yet anyway XD

17.) What's your character's desk/workspace look like? Are they neat or messy?

I guess her desk was a little messy, but not too much. she had a desktop pc with separate cpu, monitor, speakers, keyboard and mouse. aside from this, she'd have a few story books and novels that she's reading or can't fit in her bookshelf XD and maybe a plate and a mug from the last thing she snacked on 8D

18.) Is your character a good cook? What's their favorite recipe, whether they're good or not? (Microwave mac-and-cheese applies.)

she's only proficient in microwaveable food. lol. and she absolutely lurrrves frozen pizza XD (cuz microwave macaroni cheese would probably be too hard for her 8D)

19.) What's your character's preferred means of travel?

well, she is the proud owner and skilled pilot of a no-nonsense, cutting-edge, state-of-the-art, athletic, high-performance, new-generation, premium quality, lightweight, energy-efficient, eco-friendly, best-in-class, weather-resistant, compact... folding kick scooter XD LOL

20.) Does your character have any irrational fears?

she has no phobias, but if you were to play Yoda, then I guess you could say she fears going away from her sister and losing that close relationship.

21.) What would your character's cutie mark be?

a green book with a silver triquetra on the cover and a black quill pen XD maybe with a USB cable sticking out of the book lol

22.) If your character could time travel, where would they go?

oh don't give her ideas XD very probably a couple thousand years ago or more, to the times of HIGH ADVENTURE 8D

23.) Is your character superstitious?

superstition is a word used for the beliefs of others that we don't respect. religion is a word used for the beliefs of others that we do respect. truth is a word used for our beliefs. based on the statement above, she knows what History knows of the pokémon deities, but she doesn't perform any rituals or anything. Her people's "religious" traditions are related to the moon. she likes it because when the full moon shines on her she can use her little wings to fly a little XD

24.) What might your character's ideal romantic partner be?

she wants a brave girl who's strong and also sweet. a girl she can be proud of and who she can trust to be heroic. and if she enjoys pizza and fantasy, it'd be great XD

25.) Describe your character's hands. Are they small, long, calloused, smooth, stubby?

small, smooth, and kinda stubby XD Clefairy! 8D

26.) Second day of favorites! Favorite comfort food, favorite vice, favorite outfit, favorite hot drink, favorite time of year, and favorite holiday.

comfort food: 8D pizza! and chesto berries too XD

outfit: she's always wearing a pouch around her neck with her mp3 player, her headphones in her ears of course, and her smartphone in another matching pouch at her waist. she likes to wear plain long skirts, sneakers, and turtleneck shirts.
hot drink: hot chocolate XD
time of year: I hope this means "season" because she likes winter XD yay for long nights!
holiday: all the holidays she knows are astronomical events like the new lunar year, equinoxes, and solstices, but the ones she loves the most are lunar eclipses XD and her birthday of course |D

A Charming Spell by Splashdown because since the virus incident she tries to be wiser and more in control like a witch XD not to mention she's also into magic and the occult because of her fascination with fantasy... she's such a nerd X3

she likes the smell of violets, so she wears essence of violets XD
